Terms of use

Plain-English terms for using Ready Fund Grow. By creating a campaign, giving a gift or partnering with us, you agree to these.

Last updated: August 2026

About the platform

Ready Fund Grow (ABN 19 685 036 702) is an Australian not-for-profit company that helps schools, early learning services and community organisations fund approved environmental and learning projects. Ready Fund Grow (RFG) publishes campaigns after review; RFG is not a broker, supplier or builder.

If you create a campaign

  • You must be an adult and authorised by the school, service or organisation the project is for. We confirm this before a campaign goes live.
  • You remain responsible for project delivery, approvals, permits, procurement, safety and supplier arrangements.
  • Campaign information must be accurate, current and not misleading. You must tell RFG if anything material changes.
  • You must have all necessary consents, permissions and usage rights for content and images you upload.
  • You must be contactable during the campaign and after it closes.
  • You must provide progress and completion information as required under the approved funding arrangement.

If you give

  • Gifts are contributions to Ready Fund Grow. RFG has applied for charity registration and deductible gift recipient (DGR) endorsement, which are not yet in place, so contributions are not currently tax deductible.
  • You are not buying goods or services, and a gift does not entitle you to direct a project, a supplier or a design.
  • Keep what you raise: RFG charges no platform fee. Payment processing costs are met by RFG or by supporters who choose to add a voluntary top-up.
  • Contributions are generally final once processed, subject to applicable law. Contact RFG promptly if a contribution was made in error, was unauthorised, or there is another issue requiring review.

If a project changes or cannot go ahead

If an approved project materially changes or cannot proceed, RFG will determine the appropriate treatment of the funds in accordance with its charitable purposes, applicable law and the representations made to supporters. Material changes will be communicated to supporters where appropriate.

Review and publication

RFG may request changes, decline, suspend or remove a campaign where necessary, including where information is inaccurate, authorisation is withdrawn, eligibility changes, or the project no longer meets RFG’s requirements. Review is not an endorsement of any supplier, product or price.

Partners and recognition

Partners may nominate a region, theme or approved project they wish to support, but RFG retains final responsibility for project eligibility, approval, and the application of charitable funding. Partnership does not confer exclusivity, guaranteed campaign approval, control over supplier selection, or any right to direct which projects are funded. RFG manages related-party arrangements, including any involvement of WaterUps, under RFG’s governance and conflict-of-interest processes.

Content you upload

You retain ownership of content you upload and confirm that you have the right to provide it to RFG. You grant RFG a licence to display, adapt and share it to promote the campaign and RFG's charitable work, including in social posts, reports and stories after the project is delivered. You grant RFG a non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, resize and share that content for the campaign, project reporting and RFG’s charitable communications. This licence does not override the Image and Consent Policy or any request to remove personal images where appropriate.

Acceptable use

  • Do not post misleading, unlawful, discriminatory or harmful content.
  • Do not use the platform for political campaigning or for personal fundraising.
  • Do not attempt to interfere with the site, its security, or other people's accounts.
  • Do not impersonate another person or organisation.
  • Do not upload content you do not have permission to use.
  • Do not disclose unnecessary personal or sensitive information about another person.
  • Do not use RFG for fraudulent, personal, political, unlawful or non-approved fundraising.
  • Do not attempt to bypass platform security or misuse another user's account.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity conducted through your account. Tell RFG promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Suspension and closure

RFG may suspend an account or campaign where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, eligibility or misuse concerns. Where practical, we will explain the reason and any next steps.

WaterUps relationship

Ready Fund Grow was established with support from WaterUps. WaterUps may supply products to some approved projects but is never a required supplier. Any related-party involvement is disclosed and managed through RFG's governance processes.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, RFG is not responsible for the acts or omissions of campaign creators, recipient organisations, contractors or suppliers, or for outcomes outside RFG’s reasonable control. Nothing here excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The version applying to a contribution, campaign or partnership will be the version in effect when the relevant arrangement was entered into, unless a change is required by law or expressly agreed. Questions: hello@readyfundgrow.org.au. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to any laws that apply regardless of jurisdiction.
