Sensory garden with textured paths, scented planting and a shaded seat

The school raised $6,800 from its community; a regional partner seeded the remaining $4,000 through Ready Fund Grow.

The garden opened at the start of Term 1 and is booked by classes as well as used at recess.

Staff report fewer playground incidents involving students from the support unit.
