Example campaign — not a real fundraiser

This page shows how a school or community project could be presented on Ready Fund Grow. The organisation, location and project details are fictional, and it isn't accepting donations.

An orchard classroom for our high school

Example Secondary College·Illustrative example · TAS

Twelve fruit trees and an outdoor teaching space for food technology and science.

The project

This example shows how a secondary school might present an orchard project. Food technology students have no growing space of their own.

The plan is to plant twelve heritage apple and pear trees with help from a local nursery and volunteer families, alongside a simple outdoor teaching space.

Once established, the orchard could be used by science and food technology classes and a breakfast program, giving students regular access to fresh fruit.

Example project budget

  • Twelve heritage fruit trees

    $2,400

  • Guards, stakes and mulch

    $1,300

  • Irrigation

    $1,900

  • Outdoor teaching seating

    $2,800

  • Total

    $8,400

What if we don't reach our fundraising target?

Every contribution counts. You don't need to reach your fundraising target to access the funds raised for your approved project.

If your campaign raises less than expected, Ready Fund Grow will work with you to adjust the project scope, deliver it in stages or find another suitable way to achieve its intended charitable purpose. The funds raised remain available to support your project, subject to the usual verification and funding arrangements.

For this project: If less than the full goal were raised, the project could start with fewer trees and add the teaching space in a later stage.

What a real campaign adds

  • Opening and closing dates, and an expected delivery date.
  • Live progress toward the funding goal and a supporter wall.
  • Project updates posted by the organisation as work happens.
  • A way for people to follow the project and hear what was delivered.
